Curiosity is the material at the center of Brack Morrow’s art, and that center is positioned directly at the intersection between art, science, and music. Brack’s The EAR1 Project, is both interdisciplinary and multidisciplinary. Through his study of neuroscience, ecology, and music he interlaces the disciplines of sculpture, photography, video, and sound installation. He explores the relationship between art and science in search of alternative ecological perception through the language of music.
Brack has a BFA in Sculpture from New Mexico State University. He received his MFA in Interdisciplinary Art at Massachusetts College of Art and Design in Boston. He and his life partner, artist Stephanie Wagner, live and work from their studios in New Mexico, 35 miles north of the US/Mexican border.
